TEDx Beijing x Studio X Beijing x pangbianr present:
An alternative space to watch the TEDx Beijing conference on Saturday, 13 November. Join the crowd at Studio X in Fangjia hutong (see map) to watch a live broadcast of the annual TEDxBeijing lectures. This year’s theme is “Uncovering Innovation” and features 12 speakers discussing the nature of creativity and how ideas act across disciplines. Speakers include world-renowned panda expert Lu Zhi, Beijing-based artist and videographer Martin Barnes, and robotics expert Dr.Guangming Xie.
Pangbianr will facilitate interaction and participation among the crowd by organizing an audio/visual installation. Montreal urban artist Maxime Archambault will create a live, large-scale painting installation over the course of the event, which runs from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. We’ll also provide music from some of Beijing’s most innovative sound artists between the talks, including a live performance by experimental violinist Yan Yulong.
Drinks will be provided by Tranquil Tuesdays Tea. Tickets are 50元 advance or 70元 at the door.
