D-22, Beijing’s seminal venue for underground and emerging music, will celebrate its 5th anniversary on May 1st. They’ve packed out the long weekend with a first-rate series of shows, providing a perfect after-fest destination (or an alternative if you’re not a fest person).

We’ll kick off the weekend on Friday April 29th by screening a short pangbianr-produced documentary profiling the venue and catching up with some of the musicians who got their start there. Afterwards Lazy Camels + a special guest will perform.

Saturday 4/30 will see a rare show by Snapline, who will be supported by the fast up-and-coming Streets Kill Strange Animals and Rose Mansion stalwarts Offset: Spectacles and Golden Driver.

On Sunday 5/1 Maybe Mars heavyweights Carsick Cars and AV Okubo will hold court, supported by Mr. Graceless.

The celebration wraps on Monday 5/2 (a holiday) with the cream of the Zoomin crop. Pangbianr favorites Birdstriking will play along with other pangbianr favorites Chuiwan, Ice Seller (Tianjin’s premiere improv freakout unit), and White+. Incidentally all of these bands are featured on the pangbianr “underground b-sides” cd, which will be available at this show.

Hell of a weekend! What better way to spend the May holiday than in a state of sonic exhaustion?

D-22，北京的新音乐场景根源地，在今年将度过她的五岁生日。这五年她见证了很多的故事，孕育了上百支乐队。五年算是一个总结，在这三天的Party中，她依然会给大家准备最精彩的演出。

4月29日 (周五) 到时我们会放映由旁边儿制作的D-22的纪录片，然后Lazy Camels乐队会演。

4月30日 (周六) 由Snapline领衔，还有玫瑰楼的Golden Driver和The Offset: Spectacles，他们的忠实乐迷可千万不要错过这一场，他们的演出太少，但是质量之高却足以令人信服。Street Kills Strange Animals是一支中文词曲创作的乐队，是一支沉稳朴实的乐队。

5月1日 (周日) 则有风头正劲的AV大久保，破浪潮可不是在北京常有的。Carsick Cars结束了音乐节上的奔波后，将会在主场奉上平时少见的经典曲目。Mr. Graceless则是这两年最令人期待的摇滚新军，且看看他们表现如何吧!

5月2日 (周一) 则毫无疑问是实验摇滚之夜了，四支乐队Birdstriking，吹万，昼夜售冰和White+。都有丰富的实验性和先锋性，但同时也充满着美好的旋律，想听听新声音的朋友，千万不要错过这一场，相信会是惊喜无限。 也可以在这个演出买旁边儿《在地下》合辑，里面收录了以上乐队的单曲。
