Nice, Shanghai-heavy 10/1 party going on at Hot Cat Club in Fangjia hutong put together by Michael of Yan Tiao. PAIRS will play their first of three Beijing shows during the holiday and will have with them their new LP “Summer Sweat.” They’ll be joined by Next Year’s Love (a new band that also features Pairs’s F on guitar), Shanghai post-rockers Battle Cattle (in town to record with Yang Haisong), Yan Tiao, and the ever-diligent LOWBOW, who is planning to drop some new material on us in mid-October.
