An interview [with my mother] on what it was like building electronic devices during the Cultural Revolution. As an adolescent worker in an electronic parts factory, she began to independently construct simple radios in 1975 under very basic conditions, eventually culminating in an attempt to build a television. Over the course of three years she experienced difficulties with finding necessary parts, traversing black markets, and sexism.

Music by Soviet Pop, Erkki Kurenniemi, Brian Aspro, Daphne Oram, and Ursula Bogner. If you are equally adept at English and Chinese, the Chinese version is recommended.
