Big shindig on Saturday, August 11 at 2Kolegas: Banbian Pengke, an all-day celebration of Beijing punk’s roots. The reason for the event is a visit from Dave O’Dell, o.g. Beijing punk instigator and author of Inseparable, a memoir of his immersion in the BJ punk scene from 1995-2003. Banbian Pengke will feature a bunch of bands and DJs, and for the collectors out there, a charity auction of extremely rare and out-of-print (some of these things were never actually printed) vinyl, cassettes and CDs from the old days. This item is potentially the most valuable and will be auctioned at a higher minimum bid. Included in this is the first official punk rock vinyl record to be released outside of China. This album is #124 of 500. Unlikely there are many out there still in existence. It features the Wuliao Jundui bands before they were on Scream records. It is copyright “the bands” and released in 1998. The sleeve and paper are in good shape, the actual album itself is in PERFECT condition, it has never been played. It was put out by Xiandai Gongren, and I believe Stephane Wang has something do with this as his name appears at the bottom, as well as Luk Haas whose handwriting appears on the numbers!

EXTREMELY RARE Brain Failure Fan set. This set cannot be separated. Extremely rare, only 5 made, unreleased live album Fairy Tale of Beijing featuring the live show at CD cafe in 2001, as well a data portion on the disk featuring images and other videos. This is a handmade album, not a studio release. Original Brain Failure Turn on the distortion CD, perfect condition never played. Extremely rare, only 100 made, the first badge pin that Brain Failure ever put out showing the song “Pan ni shi wei le zi you” Rebel for Freedom. Extremely rare, only 100 made, set of 6 Brain Failure stickers.

China fire One, unopened, in plastic shrink wrap. China fire TWO featuring Underbaby’s first punk hit, Dou Yiyang. This is the tape that introduced Chinese punk rock to the entire country. No case for CFII, only the cassette.

中国火一未拆！磁带外塑料包装仍在！中国火二中有地下婴儿的首支朋克单曲：都一样。这套唱片将摇滚乐推向全中国。中国火二无外壳，仅有磁带。

Dou Wei was one of China’s best alternative rock artists, he also supported the punks. Boxed cassette of Dou Wei’s album Shan Dong Shui. Mint condition, rarely played, includes the booklet. Box is only open on one side. This is a real Rock Records album, not a pirated version.

窦唯是中国当时最好的另类音乐人、摇滚乐音乐人之一。他也曾支持过朋克音乐的发展。《山河水》的这盒磁带是带封套的，封套几乎全新，磁带很少播放，包括插页。封套只从一侧打开过。这是张原版唱片，不是盗版。

Rare Hang on the Box CD from their tour in 2004 to SXSW. This is not the exact version you will find in someone’s collection, this was only available for tours outside of China. This is their first album.

Original first release of Wuliao Jundui cassettes, 1999. mint condition, rarely played. No box, no covers, just the tapes. This is the influential set that gave Chinese punk rock to the world featuring the bands Brain Failure, Anarchy Jerks, 69 and Reflector. Put together by Lu Bo, owner of the famed Scream club.

1999年无聊军队发行磁带的首版，极少播放，几乎全新。没有盒，没有封面，只有磁带。这是一套将中国朋克乐队介绍给全世界的唱片，脑浊、Anarchy Jerks，69和反光镜。由嚎叫俱乐部的老板陆波发行。

Yao Gun Beijing – featuring very early hard rock and heavy metal bands. Unopened, still in the shrink wrap. Bands on the tape include: Zhinanzheng (Compass – Luoqi), Again, Wang Yong, Heibao, Huxi, Zuomeng, Chaozai — all of these incredibly influential to early 90’s rock and roll.

Box set of the tribute album Zaijian Zhang Ju. Tang Chao’s beloved drummer was killed in a motorcycle accident, this album was a tribute to him. Includes the booklet with rare candid photos of him and the band.

这套磁带是为了向在车祸中失去生命的唐朝乐队贝斯手-张炬致敬而制作的。这套磁带包括封套、插页，还有少见的张炬和乐队的照片。

This was given to me by Tu Qiang who wrote the words on the cover. Tu Qiang was the original bassist and lead singer of Brain Failure. This was recorded with very low quality equipment, the only kind available to them at that time. This is possibly the only one in existence currently. Some of the earliest punk anthems are on this tape.

这张样带是图强给我的，封面上的字也是他写的。图强是脑浊最早的主唱和贝斯手。这张样带是用非常便宜的设备的录制的，也是他们当时唯一能找到的设备。他们的早期经典歌曲都在其中。
