Says the band:
Following on from 2010’s debut, the Québec Redneck Bluegrass Project released their 2nd album – ‘3000, Boulevard De Mess’ in July this year. This new offering may or may not contain some references to certain illicit substances. What it does contain however, is a celebration of the important things in life – booze, alcohol, and more booze. This record has been bolstered by the addition of half-man, half beard Dan Tremblay and professional dirty punk – Didier D/O on banjo and washboard respectively. The band has been delighted to learn that, already, Rush Limbaugh has described it as his album of the year, while Glenn Beck tweeted that he reckoned it was “as important as Nugent’s ‘If You Can’t Lick ‘Em…Lick ‘Em'”. Although René Angélil wrote that it was ‘utter shit’, the band would like to point out that René has never puked on stage and therefore cannot be trusted entirely.
